Mr. Brandon Cox (President, CEO) Mr. Cox possesses a unique appreciation of the client and its needs for training, program management, investigations and security. During his duty as the Security Detail Agent in Charge (AIC) in Iraq, Mr. Cox assisted the Regime Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO) in gathering evidence to prosecute Saddam Hussein and various other party members. Following his assignment as the RCLO-AIC, his duties as a GS-15E led him to be the personal body guard for members of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, various intelligence agencies, and numerous diplomats. Mr. Cox was directly responsible for coordinating the offensive and defensive posturing of vehicle convoys, civilian aircraft as well synchronizing military airlift into multiple locations throughout the Middle East. Upon his return to the United States, Mr. Cox recognized the need to convert the Iraq lessons learned into a digestible curriculum needed by the Joint Service and Civilian Communities. It was through a combination of this service and his previous career within Explosive Ordnance Disposal that Mr. Cox established the fundamentals necessary to found Threat Management Group.
Mr. Jimmy Wood (Executive Vice President) Mr. Wood brings a wealth of experience from a career that spans both military service and civilian contracting. As a military officer, Mr. Wood currently serves as a Major in the United States Air Force Reserves where he commands an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team that is actively engaged in the execution of the Global War on Terror. From his beginning in EOD on active duty to the present, Mr. Wood has spent 12 years commanding EOD detachments around the world; a career that recently included a command position of EOD forces in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, Mr. Wood was exposed to the most current IED employment tactics, techniques, and procedures being used by terrorists and insurgents. In his civilian career, Mr. Wood has worked extensively as a contractor supporting the Special Operations community at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in the interagency program management of technology development initiatives, Federal, State and local exercise development and execution, and as the industry liaison for specialized product development.
Mr. Derek Singleton (Vice President, EOD Operations) Mr. Singleton has 28 years of combined EOD experience. As a Master EOD Technician, Mr. Singleton completed a distinguished military career, including five years as the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of a Multi Tiered EOD Unit. Highlights of his career include direct support to various nuclear weapon systems, aerospace recovery systems, Presidential Protection Details and numerous responses ranging from Civil War ordnance, commercial explosives to IED's. The culmination of Mr. Singleton's military career involved direct support to the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) combating the IED threat in Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Mr. Singleton played a major role in the development and testing of the first procedures used to defeat large vehicle IEDs after the bombing of Khobar Towers and researched efforts to procure large vehicle X-Ray equipment. Mr. Singleton's contribution to IED defeat tactics extends well beyond the EOD community. In 2006 Mr. Singleton was selected as the first ever civilian contractor at the operator level to manage the EOD training program while preparing deploying EOD teams to combat the IED threat in Iraq and Afghanistan. The success of this trail program led to multiple contractors in the Joint Service EOD units worldwide. Currently, Mr. Singleton manages employees throughout various EOD Teams while supporting these exceptional contractors as part of Threat Management Group's executive staff.
Mr. Dale Cox (Director of Security) For the past 35 years, Mr. Dale Cox has dedicated his professional life to the service of his country in the law enforcement and investigative disciplines. The breadth of his distinguished career in varied assignments recently culminated in his selection as the Head of Security for the US Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, where he performed with distinction for a period of two years. While serving in this capacity, Mr. Cox was charged with selecting, screening and assigning over 300 security personnel to the various duties and posts associated with the total security of the Embassy Complex. Added to this, Mr. Cox has served the great State of South Carolina in law enforcement in several capacities ranging fron investigative, undercover work to serving as the Chief of Police. |
